This comedy-drama premiered October 3, 2004 and follows the lives of a group of women who live on Wisteria Lane. Seen through the eyes of their dead friend and neighbour, Mary Alice, the main characters are Susan (Teri Hatcher), Lynette (Felicity Huffman), Bree (Marcia Cross) and Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker). Five seasons of Desperate Housewives have been released on DVD.
On April 23, 2009, it was announced that Desperate Housewives would return for a sixth season. The sixth season of Desperate Housewives, is expected to be produced in 2009 and to premiere on ABC on September 27, 2009. It will take place in the years of 2014-2015 following the five year jump between previous seasons (4 and 5) and also the 2 months jump between the season 5 finale and this season. |
